San Francisco, California--The Nabagereka, Queen of Buganda, Slyvia Najjinda Luswata started her royal visit to San Francisco, California last Tuesday. She was welcomed by hundreds of ecstatic Baganda and a cross-section of jubilant Ugandans living in California and neighboring states led by her chief hostess, the Representative of the Ssabassajja Kabaka of Buganda, omumbejja (princess) Mrs. Dorothy Musoke Mugerwa. Also at hand to welcome the Buganda Queen were the Kabaka Representative to Southern California, Omugave Nduggwa, and the treasurer (omuwanika) of Buganda in Northern California and Nevada Mr.  Moses Muyenga.
