Arise and Shine International Ministries Church in Bedford, Texas

 

Bedford, Texas—The consecration ceremony for Senior Pastor of Arise and Shine International Ministries, Bishop-Elect Nosa Onaiwu, will take place at Arise and Shine International Ministries on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11AM,the consecration committee announced in a press release Tuesday.

According to the chairman of the consecration organizing committee engineer Adewale Adegbite, the consecration ceremony will be conducted by Archbishop Dr. Margaret Benson- Idahosa, of Church of God Mission International (CGMI) and Vice President of the International Communion of Charismatic Churches (ICCC).

She will be assisted by Archbishop Dr. Kirby Clements- President (ICCC), Bishop Joel Thomas and Bishop Feb Idahosa (Son of the Late Archbishop Benson Idahosa), the statement said.

Bishop-Elect Nosa Onaiwu, a pastor since 1996, is married to Pastor Dr. Ade Onaiwu, and the couple is blessed with five children. Bishop-Elect Nosa Onaiwu  holds a Master's Degree in Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University, Texas. A banknote engraver by profession, he trained at De La Rue Giori, Switzerland  he worked with the renowned Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Company, Lagos, for 10 years before his call to ministry, the statement said.

The 12 year-old Arise and Shine International Ministries was founded on December 28th, 2003 with It's inaugural services held at the Holiday Inn before transitioning to the Convention Plaza and then to the MacArthur Commons, all in  Irving, Texas. Later, the ministry acquired its own premises in Bedford, Texas in 2011, the statement revealed. Arise & Shine International Ministries  has a multi-cultural congregation with members from Africa, the United States, and other parts of the world.

According to engineer Adewale Adegbite, following the consecration, a "Divine Impartation Service" will be conducted for the newly consecrated Bishop, congregants of the host church, local, national, and international guests on  Sunday, April 17th, 2016. Political and civic leaders from the City of Bedford are expected to attend the consecration ceremony. A cross-section of members from diverse spiritual and cultural communities in the mid-cities and beyond are invited to attend the event.

A number of spiritual and cultural performances are planned to highlight the consecration ceremony, the press release stated.
