EACC Hosts Diaspora Investment Promotion Tour in Dallas

Dallas, Texas--The East African Chamber of Commerce (EACC) of Dallas will this Friday host a Diaspora investment promotion forum to facilitate individuals interested in investing in Kenya and the East African region in general. The Diaspora Investment Tour for Dallas will feature major business players from Kenya, the largest economy in the East African region. The business delegation from Kenya is led by Mr. George Wachiuri; the Optiven CEO accompanied by Mr. Gerald Githinji, the Deputy Governor of Kiambu County in Central Kenya. 

Those interested in investing in Kenya and beyond are advised to attend the event to evaluate the existing business and investment opportunities in the region. A statement from the EACC board member and Treasurer Benson Kasue says the event will start with one-on one consultation sessions at 11:00AM.

The Diaspora Investment Tour will climax with a reception dinner starting at 6:00PM, the statement said. While this is a FREE event sponsored by KPRA in partnership with OPTIVEN, RESOERT CITIES, BTC, FAMILY BANK, and ICEA LION, whoever plans to attend is required to register to get a ticket to access the venue, the statement further advises. The event will take place this Friday May 27, 2016 at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel by the Galleria starting at 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The hotel is located at 4801 Lyndon B Johnson Freeway, Dallas, TX 75244.

Meanwhile, the EACC is soon launching a webinar platform to reach out to current members who may not be able to physically attend some events and to address important topics and engage with industry experts.
