Dallas, Texas—The Africa Business Portal (ABP) in conjunction with the East African Chamber of Commerce (EACC) have gone digital and will this Thursday June 2 conduct a Webinar Event to unveil essential Tools for Accelerating business Growth and development in the East African region. “This is a premium event initiated and presented by Africa Business Portal to provide Essential Tools for Accelerating Growth in East Africa,” EACC chairwoman Elsa Juko McDowell and board member and treasurer Benson Kasue announced in a joint statement Monday. The one-hour inaugural Webinar Event will take place on Thursday, June 2, 2016 starting at 11:00 AM (Central Time (US & Canada).

“As the East Africa Community (EAC) increasingly becomes a hotspot for international business and a focus for many U.S. companies, and with the variety of innovative initiatives taking place within and among member countries of the East African Community (EAC), this is a momentous and wonderful time to invest in or do business in East Africa,” the joint statement said.

During the Webinar event, the Africa Business Portal (ABP) in partnership with the East Africa Chamber of Commerce (EACC) will explore and highlight opportunities and tools for business in the six member countries of the East Africa Community (EAC).  The upcoming Webinar, to be conducted in English, is open for everyone. “OTHER BUSINESS & FINANCE EDUCATION & LEARNING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT categories will also be highlighted,” the statement said.

EACC Vice Chairperson Bill Morgan

Bill Morgan, an Avistas Founding Principal consultant and CEO, is the Vice Chairman   of the East African Chamber of Commerce with over 25 years of proven experience leading major business growth and transformation initiatives.
