By all accounts, she was a pioneer, a role model, a mentor, a consummate professional, and a philanthropist with a global perspective. An iconic figure in the field of dentistry, with grace and humility, she lent herself to a lifelong commitment to mentoring and inspiring young people especially girls to pursue their academic and professional goals with distinction and excellence amidst challenging conditions. She ran a good race and is now gone to be with her Lord and Savior. She leaves a legacy that poses an enduring challenge to those she touched to constantly strive to immortalize her. RIP, Gladys.
